In February 2025, as part of testing its products for JSC Metallurgical Plant Petrostal and LLC NPO Laboratory of Special Steels and Alloys (St. Petersburg), the enterprise LLC Eurasian Devices tested replaceable blocks for measuring temperatures. The operation of this product was tested in the steelmaking sections of the open-hearth shop and the special metallurgy shop. As a result of the tests, the products received a high rating for further use.

JSC Metallurgical Plant Petrostal is one of the leading manufacturers of rolled products from carbon, low-, medium- and high-alloy steel grades in Russia. The enterprise has mastered the production of more than 500 grades of steel for such industries as mechanical engineering, energy, pipe, mining, oil and gas and nuclear. Replaceable blocks for measuring the melt temperature were used to measure the metal temperature at the melting units (open-hearth furnace, electric arc steel-making furnace) and out-of-furnace processing units (ladle furnace, vacuumizer) of these manufacturing enterprises. Comparative indicators for temperature measurements were ±3 °C (from measurements by serially used thermocouples), which indicates the high quality of the products of Eurasian Devices LLC. The technological design of the replaceable thermocouple blocks manufactured by Eurasian Instruments LLC facilitated their unimpeded use on standard equipment of metallurgical enterprises, which allowed all operations to be carried out as quickly and safely as possible. Specialists of Petrostal Metallurgical Plant JSC and NPO Laboratory of Special Steels and Alloys LLC assessed the advantages of the proposed new products and confirmed the efficiency of their use in production.
