Measurement oxygen activity
The sensor is designed for measuring the temperature of metal melts by immersion for up to 8 seconds. Oxidation sensors are available in three types: low (1 to 1000 ppm), high (50 to 2000 ppm), universal (1 to 2000 ppm). Additionally, there is an option to choose sensors for manual measurement and manipulator use.
Compatible and interchangeable with all existing connection systems.
Purpose: Measurement of oxygen activity and temperature in molten metal
Application area: Oxygen converters, electric arc and induction furnaces, ladle furnaces, vacuum degassers, tundishes, casting ladles.
Measurement range:
EMF: from -1024.0 mV to +1024.0 mV
Metal temperature: from 400°C to 1800°C
Оxygen activity: from 1 to 2000 ppm O₂
Carbon content: from 0.010% to 0.200%
Aluminum content: from 0.001% to 0.199%
Accuracy: ±0.0025 T; ±29 ppm O₂
Measurement time: up to 8 sec
Sheath diameter: 18 mm / 40 mm (optional)
Tube length: from 100 to 1500 mm (other lengths available upon request)
Slag cap: steel, cardboard
